*** This is a message to students who have borrowed student loans through Edamerica for the current 2008-09 academic year. Edamerica loan funds that were originally scheduled to be disbursed Tuesday, August 26 have been delayed and are currently rescheduled for disbursement on September 12. We have been assured by Edamerica that the funds are forthcoming, just delayed. Students should be receiving correspondence from Edamerica soon regarding this matter. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have any questions. ***

Returning students for the 2008-2009 academic year who have previously borrowed from Bank of America or Citibank need to contact the Office of Financial Aid at your convenience for updated information.

Students receiving financial aid should review their student portal to confirm aid has been fully processed and applied to their account balance. Possible reasons for student aid processing to be delayed include: students not submitting requested verification documents or students not fully completing the on-line student loan application process.

Remember to check your UVA Wise email account for important financial aid updates and reminders.
