Resident Director
Highland Hills Community

Resident Directors (RD) serve as the primary student administrators in one of the College's two residential communities (Highland Hills and Cavalier Farms).

RDs supervise the Resident Advisors (RA) within his/her area and work to establish an atmosphere of community and teamwork amongst his/her staff.

RDs help to maintain the programming efforts of his/her RA staff and serve as chair to an RA work group, in addition to maintaining a full academic workload.

Resident Assistant Staff

The Resident Advisor (RA) is a highly motivated student leader who serves as the primary contact for the College's 700+ residential students. The RA is reponsible for fostering relationships and cultivating a sense of community in his/her area of influence. The RA works to help connect his/her residents to all the campus has to offer while also bringing opportunities for growth and development into the residential communities. Other specific RA duties include: planning programs and events, being actively involved in the RHA, mediating roommate conflicts, helping residents take ownership of the policies and regulations of the College, serving as part of an on-call duty rotation, being a resource for residents, and participating in regional and national student leadership conferences. And that is just the beginning. Click HERE to find out more about what we like to call the "Ultimate Leadership Experience."
